Annual Meeting

A L Roper II MD
The annual meeting will be held in Mystic, as usual. The format will be pretty much the same as before. Party at our host motel on Friday evening February 3, 2012. We have special rates of $79/night. Call (860) 536-2536 for reservations.
Saturday, February 4, 1000, is the actual meeting at the Seamans Inne, with lunch and a speaker. This year we are privileged to have Kurt Hasselbalch as our presenter. Kurt is Curator of the Hart Nautical Collections at the MIT Museum.I think this will be an exciting lecture.
Details of the luncheon costs will be posted ASAP, but I have to leave that to someone who knows what they are doing on the computer. Please talk this up and encourage your Schooner friends to attend. Feel free to bring guests as this looks to be a lot of fun. Al Roper, Commodore.

Joe Froggers

Al, are you bringing Joe Froggers again this year or should I make up a batch to bring up?

lunch comment and hotel question

I'm afraid to ask what they shave off of the roast beef....

Anybody know if the ASA rate is cheaper than the government rate? Working for the govt ought to be good for something.
